Norfolk and Suffolk Grave Conservation Service offers the same services for passed animals. We do however understand that the needs of the client for their pet’s site can be very different. We would therefore be more than happy to offer a free no obligation quote for any work that you might wish us to carry out on your behalf. Just contact us and we will either call you back or e-mail you.

We are also proud to offer the following service which is in association with our company.

Losing a pet or companion animal can be a devastating event for many owners. Unfortunately no matter how well meaning friends and family are, they can sometimes be dismissive of the effect that it has had on the owner. You will often hear comments such as” It’s only a cat or dog.” You might even hear “Well you can always get another one”.

Those who have not experienced the deep and long term relationship of a pet often find it hard to understand the effect that the death of that pet has had on its owner. It can sometimes feel very lonely.

There is support for those who wish to be able to express their grief and talk about their loss. Adrian, who is a certified counsellor of many years, has now completed a Diploma in Companion Animal Bereavement Counselling.

Adrian is able to provide an environment for the owner which is confidential, non judgmental, and empathic. You will be able to talk about your relationship that you had with your pet, how you feel about losing your pet or simply about how you are feeling right now. You may have questions such as should I get another animal to replace the one I have lost. What can I do to help the other pets in the house who are clearly showing signs of loss? You might even be facing the difficult question of Euthanasia. What does it mean, what happens? There are many facets to bereavement and the grief that accompanies loss. You do not have to suffer in alone, there is someone to whom you can talk to.

If you feel that you would like to, without any obligation whatsoever, learn how Companion Animal Bereavement support can help, then please e-mail adrian@
